Flashback Friday

It’s crazy how just hearing a few seconds of one song can bring you back to another moment in your life.  That totally happened to me this morning.  One minute I was in the Dunks drive-thru contemplating if I should treat myself to a chocolate chip muffin or if I should stick to my plan and have my banana- and then all of a sudden Everclear came on the radio and I felt as though I was back in 8th grade on the bus with all my classmates heading to Washington D.C. for the first [and only!] time.

Now my morning will totally be unproductive as I am texting my high school friends reminiscing about all of the ridiculous & funny things that happened on that trip over 12 years ago!  (YIKES)

The memories also reminded me that I need to plan another trip to DC sometime soon so that I can see it in the eyes of an adult, not just a 14 year old girl :)
